Coedwig - Guardian

Concept artwork for The Greenwood, a university game project based on the Welsh forests where a young girl embarks for her village to find the source of a disease and finds the forest guardian who imparts knowledge about the disease onto her.
The team decided to have a dragon as the guardian, as dragons heavily tie into Welsh culture, including it's flag.
